Hi,

If you like Zelda on Nintendo, you will like it on Salix:
http://www.zelda-solarus.com/jeu-zsdx

zsdx: Zelda Mystery of Solarus DX
zsxd: Zelda Mystery of Solarus XD, a fun parody.

You can install them via slapt-src/Sourcery.

Have fun ;)

Looks interresting, but is it legal to use the name Zelda without the agreement of Nintendo ?
I'll test this tonight :p

Edit: Solarus is missing lua in the dependency in slapt-src.
Edit2: Seems that I cannot find the licence for zsdx. Solarus is GPL, but the data (zsdx) seems not to have any licence. The main author said that he "ripped" some data from Zelda A Link to the past. So I think that the game itself is some warez (for the graphics), while the engine is free.

Zelda is just a name/surname, for example: the surname Zelda is the 254,452. most frequent name in the US.

Warez ? WoW :D
Yes, ripped, but only visualy, all have been written.

The engine is GPL and the quest is opensource, with no choosen license, that means, from what I understand about, that you can only read the code and ask the author if you want to do something with it.

Quoted from the README:
This package contains the data files of the quest Zelda: Mystery of Solarus DX.
This quest is a free, open-source game that works with Solarus,
an open-source Zelda-like 2D game engine.
All is online.
