The second Salix in production !!!


Salix 64 XFCE is running in our systems powered by Lazarus/FreePascal 64 bits (QT and GTK2) http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/

This works across internet with encripted tunnel. (100 km from the central server)
Hardware Dual pentium, 2 Gb Ram, parallel pci port

Software used
Salix XFCE 64 bits
Firefox
Pidgin
apps compiled with Lazarus/FreePascal 64 bits
zebedee 64 bits
Cups (matrix printer)
X11vnc (reverse vnc)
QT 4.7
etc,

After a year, I have six Salix running in production.
I must change kernel for support network, fix error, etc.

3) Salix XFCE 64 bits 13.37 - 2.6.38.8 x86_64 - 2 GB RAM
4) Salix LXDE 64 bits 13.37 - 3.0.36 x86_64 - 512 MB RAM
5) Salix XFCE 64 bits 13.37 - 3.0.36 x86_64 - 2 GB RAM
6) Salix XFCE 64 bits 13.37 - 2.6.37.6 x86_64 - 4 GB RAM

I have the hope to continue installing more salixss

There are 30 computers (6 salix,1 slax,2 slackware,21 windows) in my company (where I job).

I have the hope to continue installing more salixss, and....

In the future, try to convince my bosses to donate money to free software. (Salix, Slackware, Firebird SQL, FreePascal/Lazarus, etc )

I hope to get lucky ...
