I recently started using Salix and I really like it, the only problem I am having is with fonts. I have tried LXDE, Mate, and XFCE with the same fuzziness in all three, no matter what I try I cant get the fonts to sharpen up. I am using a Thinkpad T-61. Thanks for the help.

You can change font hinting settings in the DE's settings manager.

I have tried that, I cant get them as sharp as I want. Do you think it might be something to do with the resolution on my Thinkpad?
