Try with a live CD of Slackel:

http://www.slackel.gr/

... a not all that long shot. Slackel is basically Salix with a more recent kernel and KDE. Your wireless may be supported by it, but not by the 13.37 kernel. If so, the solution is to upgrade the kernel.

If not, as gapan said, please post some information about your hardware. Searching this forum for "Wireless" will give an idea of the kind of information that could help - and maybe even an immediate solution in your case.

My crystal ball says "Broadcom". But it isn't as reliable as a Salix wizard's. ;)

EDIT Actually I see Slackel Live is in beta at the moment - scroll down the page. But that's fine just to do a test. Alternatively, you may simply wish to install it, in which case there's no need to use a beta version.

EDIT2 slackellive 4.8.2 here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/slacke ... kde-4.8.2/

If by chance you have a Broadcom 4313 chipset, you can take a look at the thread below:

http://www.salixos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3838
"Salix 13.37 KDE on a HP Mini 210." 20 Aug. 2012.

As mimosa wrote, if you have a wireless chipset which isn't supported by the older (2.6.37.6) stock kernel in Salix 13.37, you might be able to get WiFi working by upgrading to a newer kernel. One of the developers, shador, has compiled a newer kernel for us to use as well as providing clear instructions for installing it. (I'm no Salix wizard but I followed shador's instructions and successfully upgraded my kernel). :)

Please post back with the info requested by thenktor, so that people can help you ...
