error during installation

hello, today i would try salix but during the process of installation i have an error number 2 in openoffice installation, i have choose ok but another error occured (error 137 in samba) and the installation killed. Why?? I have used 2 different iso image but the error was the same. thanks

Did you check the md5sum of your downloaded iso to see if it was downloaded OK? And how big is the partition that you are trying to install Salix on?

how can i check the md5sum? my hard disk is 250 gb and i want dedicate all to salix.

this problem with the partitiong is with 64 bit only [autopartitiong] not 32 bit.

That depends. What operating system are you using now? If you using linux you can do it by opening a terminal window in the same directory the iso images is and running
and check the output against the md5sums mentioned in the download page:

The problem was actually with both 32bit and 64bit 13.0.2 iso images. That's why there are both 32bit and 64bit 13.0.2a iso images now. But this problem seems unrelated to that.

I have no idea what you can use for windows, but I am sure google does. Try a search for "windows md5sum".

the md5sum of the iso that i downloaded is correct, now i burn with another program one cd and reinstall salix.
