hi!

i installed opera thus:

Code: Select all

slapt-get -i opera
it's correct?

He probably didn't find the icon in the menu because XFCE doesn't update it fast enough :?:

Actually there are no 'gtk-update-icon-theme' in Salix.

You might have meant 'gtk-update-icon-cache' or even 'update-desktop-database', unfortunately neither seems to help. :(

Only 'Log out and in again' seems to do the trick at the moment...

But that's a XFCE problem and should be solved upstream.

Yes. Sorry, my fault. :oops:

A third option that i can imagine of is to restart panel(s) by context menu (but not tried either).

But I assume thenktor is right that the XFCE team has to fix it sometimes :?
