Hi,

When booting up, it takes about 2minutes to "trigger udev events", but eventuelly boots up just fine after that.

Hardware:
Asus EEE 1015PEM

Salix 14.0 XFCE 64bit

Well, I kinda figured this out myself.

Reconfigured the kernel specifically for my hardware and the problem went away.

Anyway, love the distro.

Regards from Norway!

Glad you worked it out. It would be helpful to post what reconfiguration you did exactly. Might have others with the same problem.

Do you mean you recompiled the kernel?
