Well, I was around here for a while somewhen in 2010, but moved along after a few months. I have been using mainly Fedora and openSUSE in these two years, but didn't lose my interest in "alternative" distros (and smaller communities). When I saw that Salix 14 is out and it ships with Xfce 4.10, I decided to give it a go. Everything has been going seamlessly so far, so I'm kind of planning to stick with Salix for the foreseeable future. There're a few packages missing, but actually I'm seeing that as an opportunity for contribution rather than a drawback

Hi, yes, I've continued to use Salix while getting addicted to Google Plus, so took a long break from this Forum. Also returned here as version 14 approached, and was referred to Slackel for my particular needs.
