swaret lets you keep your Slackware system up to date. It functions similarly to apt-get, the Debian package manager.

Has somebody experience in using swaret? What could be an (dis)advantage vs. gslapt?

I think swaret is (or at least appears to be) abandoned. I did have a look at that a long time ago and if I remember right, it was using a qt based gui and didn't have most of the features slapt-get has.

Yep, same here.

I did not even know it had a GUI.

And as far as I remember swaret doesn't support multiple repos.
