I am trying to install yakuade and I am running XFCE 14.0. Attempting to download using slapt-src I get the following error message:
CMake Error at /usr/share/apps/cmake/modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:198 (MESSAGE):
Did not find automoc4 (Automoc4Config.cmake, install
git://anongit.kde.org/automoc). (missing: AUTOMOC4_EXECUTABLE)
Call Stack (most recent call first):

/usr/share/apps/cmake/modules/FindKDE4Internal.cmake:423 (find_package)
/usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindKDE4.cmake:95 (FIND_PACKAGE)
CMakeLists.txt:3 (find_package)

First, I don't know how to go about installing "git://anogit.kde.org/automoc". Second, I went down a similar path trying to install yakuake in 13.37 and finally suceeded after installing kdebase. However, I can't find kdebase using slapt-get or slapt-src, so, I'm at a loss as to how to proceed from here.

Any help much appreciated & Thanks in advance

I had similar when installing Rekonq. Solved it by first installing cmake and automoc4 with Gslapt (slapt-get).

Try kde-baseapps and/or kde-baseapps-lite.

Many thanks knome! I was missing automoc4 and did not realize that was the program it was asking for. Now I've got all my essentials installed and all is well again.

Again - My thanks!

Well I spoke too soon :(

The program did install after I installed automoc4. However when it opened I received the same message that caused me to install 'kdebase' while in 13.37
Yakuake was unable to load the Konsole component.
A Konsole installation is required to use Yakuake.
I have also installed Konsole, kde-baseapps-lite and kde-baseapps but still getting the error message when I open the program. So, I'm close but still not there yet.

Yeah, yeah, I know, it's like I'm talking to myself. It's just that I can post faster than I can think sometimes.

Anyway, reinstalled yakuake after adding the kde stuff and all is well ...really ...I mean it ;)
