I missed some libs from that package and wonder if it shouldn't be included in a default install...

aaa_elflibs is a useless package. What libs are you missing?

For example, libjpeg62.

And why do you need that? It's old and nothing should be compiled with it.

Well, there are some software projects that sill use it...

What software projects? Nothing is slackware or salix should. Recompile those "software projects" with the new libjpeg then.

Then I suppose, that installing aaa_elflibs manually would resolve the issue without introducing any problems. Right?
