Salix is a distro from greece and there is news of unprecedented rains & floods, heaviest in 50 years. I hope members of team Salix are okay! Prayers and concernes are with you guys and with the people of greece affected by this catastrophe. Human will is stronger and more powerful than any natural calamitiy. Wishing you guys a speedy recovery from this disaster.

I'd like to add my good wishes to hakerdefo's. I don't know exactly where gapan and djemos are located, but I hope they're safe and sound.
This morning I saw a series of news photos of a woman in Chalandri being pulled from her car. She was caught in a flash flood, but neighbors managed to rescue her. (

My city is Agrinio. It is on west - central Greece.
gapan is on Thessaloniki. North Greece.

I'm from Maroli. A sleepy little town on the west coast of Indian state of Gujarat.

made me head over to distrowatch and and according to Ladislav and co.'s info Salixos originates from Europe. So thank you thenktor! I stand corrected! Then why on earth did i always have the impression that Salix is from Greece?!? May be because most of the devs are from Greece. Sorry about my mistake! OOpsY!!! People are right when they say that i'm good at making silly mistakes! According to the salixwiki the Base Team is 12 members strong and out of these 12, 4 are from france, 2 from germany, 2 from italy, 2 from greece, 1 from brazil and 1 from us. So i stand recorrected! Sorry!!!
