Hi,

(I've already posted this to the Salix mailing list, but since I'm rather new here, I don't know what's your main communication channel...)

Currently it seems that mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-thunderbird-l10n-fr are incompatible, since they aren't the same version number. Main app is 17.0.3, l10n file is 17.0.2, which seems to prevent Thunderbird from using it.

Suggested solution : switch to Thunderbird ESR as you guys did for Firefox, and which is a great solution. Packages can be upgraded "in one shipment", and the hassle of add-on compatibility also ends.

's OK. I reverted to my own (version-compatible) mozilla-thunderbird and mozilla-thunderbird-l10n SlackBuilds.

It's OK now, but unless we're going to offer our own thunderbird packages, there is always going to be a gap between when slackware updates their thunderbird package and when we update our locale packages.

Some issue with thunderbird 17.0.5 from Salix 14, I can't install spanish languaje. (come with 17.0.4)

Some workarround ?
