[SOLVED] GNU Privacy Assistant

Dear Salixers,

I've found a possible bug in GPA. At first start it creates directory .gnupg with ownership of root.
Then it is unable to save newly generated key, because of permissions.
Workaround: before use, create directory .gnupg by hand. Then GPA will work.

Regards, zolix

Is this a Salix package bug or is it a GPA bug?

Good question. :? I forgot to test it in other systems. I'll be back soon with proper info.

It seems it was a false alert, sorry. I cannot reproduce error.
Just installed the same 0.7.5 version from source on a zenwalk box. No problem.
Tried it twice.
Then went back to Salix and dropped .gnupg directory, ran a new test. Succes.
Again, and again.
It was a one time strange situation.
I think a moderator can erase this topic.
