Firefox v21 and not ESR

Hi folks,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've tried to find the answer all over and just can't seem to find it.

When I install Firefox I choose the latest version and then, not long after, Salix seemingly wants to 'upgrade' my install to the Firefox ESR version. So, my question is this; how do I stop it wanting to 'upgrade' my version of Firefox (when I've installed the lastest version) to the ESR version?

Many thanks for any help anyone is able to offer.

Cheers.

Johannes

The Slackware repository has the latest Firefox, but the Salix repository has the ESR version.
The Salix repository has a higher priority for slapt-get/Gslapt.
You can add Firefox as an excluded package, and it won't be automatically "updated", but you'll have too manage the updates yourself.

Many thanks aurlaent - that's solved something I've been trying to figure out for ages!

Best wishes.
