Almost anything I download from kde's official repository will not work on salix. It's the same error:

"could not create a python script engine for <name-of-plasmoid>"

Now what is salix missing as a package? Why does this work on every other distro I have used before, but not on salix?

I am running salix 14- 64 bit btw

Check pykde4 and PyQt are up to date.

that did it! Updated those and now plasmoids work!

I updated both of named but incoming messages is not working. Information about hardware as well. Any help appreciated.
