Hi friends,
I have lost the wifi connection after install the new 3.10.17 kernel in Salix 14.1.
- I reinstalled b43-firmware and b43-fwcutter with Sourcery but didn't solve it.
- I pushed the wifi button but nothing happened.
- I tried sudo dhcpcd but I get: Operation not possible due to RF-kill
- I have a dual boot with Antix, when I run Salix it kill the wifi in Antix but I can up it.
Any solution?
Thanks.

What kernel upgrade? There was no kernel upgrade after 14.1 was released.

"Upgrade..." maybe this is not the word... Sorry for my ignorance...
The kernel installed was the 3.2.45, I saw in the repos the 3.10.17 and I installed it...

I did an upgrade from 14.0.1 and the installed kernel was still the 3.2.45...

And where do you say that in your original post?

Sorry, because I did the 14.0.1 upgrade I time ago and was fine, I thought this was a different issue about the kernel...
I'll change the post...

You need to be more specific and you need to provide all possible relevant information if you want others to help you. Once again your last post doesn't make sense. If you upgraded 14.0.1 to 14.1 a long time ago as you say, certainly you must have upgraded the kernel too back then...

Which information do you need? Are you tired? Angry? I am telling to you what I did.... I don't know too much for be more "specific"...

So to regroup and recap, some time ago, you upgraded from 14.0.1 to 14.1, and all was well, but now wireless isn't working. Did it ever work after the upgrade, or did you not try it till recently? If it was working till now, what happened just before it stopped working? Did you do something kernel-related? Did you just do a general package upgrade?
In either case, it may be that the upgrade is not causing the problem. In fact, that seems likely. One or two other people have posted on the forum about doing an upgrade and then having trouble with wireless. A normal upgrade won't affect the kernel though - you have to do that manually.
I'm particularly puzzled that your Antix installation is affected too. What do you do there to fix wireless after running Salix?
Please post the output of
