Any chance of a gperiodic or Kalzium package, please? Reference to the Periodic Table can be more useful than many realise!

Do you really need a packaged application for that? If you have an internet connection, a google search for "periodic table" should be enough. And I'm sure you can find an image you can download locally to reference when you don't have an internet connection.

Yes! gperiodic is quick and dirty when in a hurry, Kalzium is comprehensive. Not just the elements but their essential properties, too. 1st IP is often mission critical in making a quick assessment, isn't it? Even some compact distros now include one or other of these. Even IT people are going to need this more often when III-V and C-nanotube semiconductors start to appear.

Just added gperiodic to both i486 and x86_64 repositories.
