Having just switched from Mint Cinnamon to Salix Mate, I'm used to seeing an Update Manager. I look in my menu and I do not see one. What is the Salix Mate equivalent?

If there are any updates, you'll see an icon in the tray, which you can then use. Otherwise, just use gslapt, or slapt-get from the command line. You better have a look in the startup guide: http://salixos.org/guide.html

Thanks gapan. I should have been more patient. Later the update icon did appear.
