Whe i copy from or to a samba share the copy process hangs for the first file, this happens on Thunar, caja and pcmanFM in Salix 14.1 XFCE, Mate and fluxbox beta1.

It also happens that a program hangs if you try to open a file on samba share.

After some time i found that it is gvfs that is the problem.
After updateing gvfs to 1.16.4 it works to copy files.

Salix openbox 14.1 use spacefm and don't have this problem because it don't use gvfs

Although it is a slackware package, I have uploaded a new gvfs 1.16.4 package. That should fix this.You should get it on next repo sync. Thanks for the report.
