I am using SalixOS with mate desktop and caja file manager. I was transferring files in bulk from one partition to another (both ext4 and different from SalixOS partition). I found when the size of all files together was large (>50 mb), the progress dialog box showing moving of iles would get stuck in between and I had to cancel the transfer. Only some files would have transferred. Fortunately, I did not lose any data. I have 4 GB RAM on my system, so system memory should not be a problem. This is unusual for a very stable system like Salix. Any comments will be appreciated.
