I installed salix "core" mode + slapt-get --install-set x + openbox + nitrogen (for managing backgrounds) + gamin

Nitrogen doesn't work:

tom[~] nitrogen ~/Immagini/Sfondi
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Gdk::PixbufError'
Abortito

???

Try installing librsvg, if that fixes it I'll update nitrogen's deps.
