New to Salix. Have a few questions please.
1. Is there a way to watch Netflix, Hulu etc on Salix? Normally I use Google-Chrome. What is my best option?
2. Am I able to install my Nvidia drivers?
3. Am I able to install my Broadcom wifi drivers?
4. What's the easiest way to configure my Brother printer?
5. Is Gaming avail? Am I able to install Wine or Winetricks or Playonlinux or Steam?

Thanks for your patience :)

1) use Chromium with widevine package from AlienBob (one of the Slackware dev.'s)
http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/peopl ... .2/x86_64/
or 32 bit
http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/peopl ... /14.2/x86/

2) https://docs.salixos.org/wiki/How_to_In ... DIA_driver

3) https://docs.salixos.org/wiki/How_to_in ... less_cards

4) either through cups via browser or sudo slapt-get -i system-config-printer, then open it via terminal or from menu

5) Linux games yes, Wine and PlayonLinux are terrible IMO, I run Windows in a virtual machine (either use qemu or virtualbox) for windows games and tax program that is not ported to Linux.

ChuangTzu, to do that, presumably, strictly speaking, you need one of those really expensive standalone Windows licenses, ie not OEM or whatever it is?

For chrome, you could use this script by ruario that downloads and packs the latest version: https://gist.github.com/ruario/9672759
You can reuse it every time you want to upgrade.
