Hi !

Try using the application named "Gigolo" (you can install it via the package manager Gslapt)
The application is then located in the "System" menu.

Hope it helps.

Question: Is Gigolo really what we want to have? I've never really used it, but it seems it is a piece of sh** when it comes to "simple samba mounting"

PS: Hi nita ;)

Gigolo comes with Salix by default. It does seem to do the job. You simply have to display the side panel to browse the network & show available Samba/Windows shares

If side panel doesn't work, you could simply create a new connection within gigolo.
