No MATE Desktop Photos

I wanted better desktop photos in Salix. I saw in gslapt "MATE Desktop photos". I installed them, it says it's installed, but I don't have the pictures anywhere.

1. Where does Salix install desktop photos when you install from gslapt?
2. Why do they have desktop photos, then when you add more, they don't go to where the desktop photos are?

Thank you,
Chris.

Since there is no such thing as a "MATE Desktop Photos" package, you'll have to be more explicit on what you actually installed.

I have it in mine.

There is no package of that name:

Code: Select all

spi mate | grep -i photo
Perhaps what you installed is called something else, but we don't know unless you tell us, which makes it difficult to help.

You can, in any case, download wallpapers in their thousands by searching for them.

It seems you don't really want anyone to help you. Good luck with that.

I do want help with that. In other posts, my Salix distro has to many problems. This was a problem, but not as big as a problem as not being able to use the distro because of display problems. Can't use it until I get the display fixed at least.

Chris.

Last chance. If you want help, you'd better answer the questions you're asked, instead of your "too many problems", "nothing works" mumblings.
