Hi there.
Very much enjoying Salix, though I can't seem to "Slackbuild" the broadcom-sta driver via Sourcery.
The solution advanced somewhere in this forum, which now I can't link to because the forum prevented another search (installing kernel-source) doesn't work for me, because it does load the kernel-source, I think 4.4.38, and the current kernel is 4.4.29. I keep getting the error 'no such file or directory, /build/4.4.29' or something to that effect.
Other packages, such as printer drivers, veracrypt and what not, end up working just fine.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to ensure you have the same kernel number for all kernel packages. It sounds as though you may have upgraded your kernel, in which case you should get the kernel source package from the same source and install it using spkg in the same way, rather than using slapt-get.

I hope your problem can indeed be solved using the method you mention.

About searching, it may sometimes be necessary to wait a few minutes. I'm not sure whether this relates to server capacity or some sort of flooding protection.

Updating the kernel did the trick!
