I have a question. I was using the live cd and set up both of my printers, a canon and an hp laserjet p2055dn. both were recognized and set up in cups, but when I tried to print to the hp, it kicked out a filter error. I'd be willing to bet it's a setting of some kind, but I don't know what.

Could someone please point me in the right direction.

Is package hplip installed? If not, install it.

hplip was installed. Tried it again and it worked. It was just a setting error. I selected hp with hlip instead of just hp in cups setup.
