Live Salix-14.2 64 bit.

I have at the moment to use the live version since my harddrive
canot be detected.

I have installed smplayer in order that I can play videos from youtube.

Unfortunately smplayer will not play videos nor streaming music.
It comes back with error:

MPlayer failed to start. Pleae check MPlayer/mpv path in preferenes.

I go there and would not know what to do.

Suggestion appreciated.
No such problem in HD.

Parole will not play youtube asking for something yet to be installed.
It does stream music.

And BTW this live version is just great.

I think you might need MPlayer as well (note the capitalization for when you are installing it). I'm not sure why this isn't a dependency, but it doesn't appear to be - perhaps because it works with other backends as well.

Installing MPlayer did the trick.

My great-granddaughter will be happy watching papa pig again.
