Password no longer required after Suspend mode

Hello,

For an unknown reason (again), my laptop won’t ask me to enter my password again after Suspend mode. It actually did and doesn’t do it anymore, and I can’t figure out why. :|
I can’t see anything that could explain the problem, as follow.

I think that xscreensaver locks the screen if you suspend by closing the lid, but not if you do it directly from the exit menu and choosing suspend from there. Can you confirm this?

I tried to close the lid multiple time. It does suspend, but once I hit the power button again, it simply shows me the screen without asking for my password. Pretty strange.

OK. Can you see if the "Lock Screen After..." option in xscreensaver is checked? Maybe that matters.

Also, run dconf-editor, and in org/mate/power-manager check all the different lock-* options.

Wow, sorry for the delay. Some health issue to deal with, so I put computer stuff aside.
Anyway, I’ve just tried what you told me and it worked, thank you!
