Anyone could share same info about salix on eeepc.

Is there something like eee-control or eeeasy scripts or Jupiter to control eeepc (fan speed etc).

I'm runnig salix-live on my eeepc (900) as my 2nd OS (primery OS is FreeBSD) and I really like its stability + I do have flash here - don't use it with FBSD.

I have tried pwmconfig for fan control, you could say it works ok, buy maybe there is a better way to do that ;)

Fn-keys are not a problem since at the moment I don't use suspend (with 2GB ram it seems not to work).and wifi is always ON.

What is different when salix is installed on eeepc internal SD-disk compering to usb-live session with remembered settings? (a part from the boot time)

Update after a while...

I'm now running SalixOS 13.1 on eeepc (solid install on integral ssd). Had fedora for one day - F13 is not in my type (slow with Opera + NetworkManager).

Pino & gpodder was added to package list - thanks for that :D

SalixOS is really cool! Been using BSD for over a year on my eeepc and now Salix :)

Anyone can share the package or explain how to install it? Is it available?
(I'm away from my Salix computer at the moment)

I think this is in the wrong place... May you, Mighty Admin :) move this to "Package request"?
