About Slint handbook translations.
I translated in Greek 1,2 of 5 strings.
I found a lot of orthographic errors in original English strings.
Take a look Didier.

Edit: Greek translation of handbook is done.

Thanks Dimitris, that was fast! Could you please tell me where there are errors? I am good to find errors but only in other people work alas...

HandBook.adoc:405 delete the one the
HandBook.adoc:604 there are two then
HandBook.adoc:654 fond has to be found
HandBook.adoc:662 privikeges has to be privileges
HandBook.adoc:678 i think it has to be or one of the standalone window manager
HandBook.adoc:680 i think it has to be To enable or not speech in graphical mode: orca-on or orca-off (as regurar user)
HandBook.adoc:1721 it has to be The easiest and recommended way
andBook.adoc:1871 On the command line but still for the graphical mode use instead the command `setxbmap` (and not la commande )

Also there are some strings about commands i do not translate and just copied the English string because i have to see how it looks when Greek handbook is made or if they have to be translated.

I am also reporting via Crowdin all the typos I find. I think I have already mentioned all the ones you @djemos mentioned here and some more... I will probably finish today the Portuguese (Portugal) translation of the Handbook.
In relation to what you @djemos wrote, yes there are many strings that should not be translated. As soon as I finish I will make a revision.

Portuguese (Portugal) translation of handbook just like everything else in https://crowdin.com/project/slint/pt-PT is done.

I tried to report all the typos/errors I found in crowdin as you @DidierSpaier may have seen.

I will review the translation as often as I can and as the files are updated. Trying to leave everything perfect. :D

Thanks Hugo and Dimitris! I have reviewed you remarks, both in this thread and in Crowdin and hopefully fixed all of them them in an updated asciidoc file, converted to PO.

I will upload the new HandBook.pot to Crowdin, but first I have to sort out why I have an issue converting a PO file (in French) to asciidoc using po4a-translate. I have requested help to understand this issue on IRC.

I have now uploaded the new HandBook.pot to Crowdin.

As a result some strings appear untranslated in each locale, sorry about that (I thought they would appear as fuzzy, probably a wrong setting).

However if you use the online editor in most cases you can just restore your previous translation.

Also, all files to be translated as well as the latest translations (before the last update mentioned above) are stored in this repository: https://github.com/DidierSpaier/slint-translations in this folder: https://github.com/DidierSpaier/slint-t ... ns20220904

I have also updated the file https://slint.fr/doc/translate_slint.html

I will also post these information in the last Crowdin discussion.

Cheers,
Didier

That's okay Didier, translations usually are kept in Crowdin's memory and the ones that aren't are kept in my Poedit memory.

By the way, Poedit is also translated on Crowdin and as such anyone who wants to help with the translation is welcome to do so. Normally, who is a Poedit translator is entitled to a free license of the pro version :D

Slint is getting a good documentation, congratulations for your work. On my behalf... just glad to help Slint project with the translation of the Portuguese (Portugal).

Thanks for your kind works, Hugo.

Unfortunately there is no pro version of Slint, else you would indeed deserve a free license ;)
