Hello,
I have followed the How to in the web to install the ATI drivers, but I am getting this error
==================================================
ATI Technologies Linux Driver Installer/Packager
==================================================
which: no XFree86 in (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/lib/java/bin:.)
Error: ./default_policy.sh does not support version
default:v2:i686:lib::none:2.6.29.6-smp; make sure that the version is being
correctly set by --iscurrentdistro
Removing temporary directory: fglrx-install.bcRvSr
I think it should work in the live system, I remember I did it work, but I barely remember how.
Any suggestions?
cheers,
ATI Drivers

Sorry to answer so late, I missed this post somehow.
Did you install the kernel-source package first? http://www.salixos.org/wiki/index.php/H ... nel_source
And I suppose you are using persistence to make these changes permanent?

What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.
