Ah. I have always done the Basic install, so I never noticed until now with the testing. I also used wicd back in the day for the wireless side of things.gapan wrote: ↑16. In Full mode you get NetworkManager, which connects automatically to wired networks and can be used to configure both wired and wireless networks after installation. In Basic mode, it's not there, so we have to use the old school scripts to connect to wired networks. There is also no support for wireless in Basic.
