Hi all. As a newcomer to the world of Slackware and a fan of Fluxbox ,is it possible to upgrade to 15 from an old version of Salix with Fluxbox preinstalled?
I have seen the instructions in the wiki and wonder if anyone has done this, and did it create any problems?
I come from the world of Debian/ Ubuntu but these snap packages annoy me !!

Hi, there should be no problem if you follow the instructions. Of course, ignore everything specific to Xfce.

Thanks for the reply. Will give it a go in a virtual box.

I have been using Fluxbox for years, with Salixos it works perfectly, I use it with some component of Xfce (Thunar-xfce4-power-manager ...) and the memory consumption is under 300Mb.
Just install fluxbox and add the voice for the 'start...
