Keyboard not working during boot

I just installed Salix 15.0 with full disk encryption like I would normally do with Slackware. It seems to work, but I can't type my password to unlock the partition because my keyboard isn't working. During the installation everything went fine, but after installed it doesn't matter what I do, the keyboard simply won't work (or the prompt isn't receiving what I type for some reason).
