in windows-manager, all styles change smoothly, but as soon as I select "wildbush' style, salix crashes and presents me with the login screen. if i try to log in as same user, it won't boot up and the login screen shows up again.
how can i revive the affected user login?

I don't understand why that certain theme gives you trouble, it works fine here.

Anyway, to reset the window manager settings to their defaults, you can do: or you can edit the ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfwm4.xml file directly.
