impossible to enable hardware video acceleration in chromium based browsers

Greetings, this may not be a directly distribution-related issue, but I can't find a way to enable hardware acceleration on chromium-based browsers. Firefox and all other programs work fine with vaapi.
What can I do to activate it, what flags should I use?
