Can anyone recommend repositories to be added to Gslapt and also, if so, how to obtain the GPG keys.

Then you can have a look in the several repositories included here: ftp://ftp.slackware.org.uk/

Oh, and gpg keys can be added by using the --add-keys switch with slapt-get.
