Kompozer on Salix64

Hello everyone

With Salix64 I would like to make kompozer work as simply as possible.

Before it was easier because I had the 32bit version of Salix. Now that I am with the 64bit version it is more complicated.

I tried with Gslapt without much result. After the installation, I launch komposer but nothing happens.

running kompozer in terminal gives the following message:

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/kompozer-0.8b3/run-mozilla.sh: ligne 166: /usr/lib/kompozer-0.8b3/kompozer-bin: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
Is there any manipulation that needs to be done to make this work?

I have tried
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0 ... /kompozer/

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/kompozer-0.8b3/run-mozilla.sh: ligne 166: /usr/lib/kompozer-0.8b3/kompozer-bin: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
Same message

What would be the easiest way to get kompozer working?

Thank you for your help

Oh, this needs multilib to work on 64 bits. I don't think it's worth it. The software looks abandoned, the last version is from 2011. In fact, I just removed it from the 64bit repositories, it shouldn't have been there in the first place.

If you want something like that, the seamonkey suite has something very similar though.

As a last hope I will fall back on seamonkey composer. Before, I will try to make Kompozer work.

The interest of Kompozer is the management of CSS with CaScadeS.

Kompozer also allows you to open php files (for example index.php) while composer is unable to do so.

I'll see what I can do with multilib.

I think you'd be better off if you used a 32bit virtual machine instead of installing multilib.
