Lately wine team released version 10.0 so I would like to upgrade to that version. On slackbuilds.org wine seems to be 10:
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/system/wine/
but when I check wine in sbopkg it shows version 9. Repository selected in sbopkg is "Sbo repository for Slackware 15.0". I have sync'ed it but it still shows wine 9. On Sbopkg site it reads "Sbopkg is a command-line and dialog-based tool to synchronize with the SlackBuilds.org ("SBo") repository, a collection of third-party SlackBuild scripts to build Slackware packages" so how to make sbopkg synchronize with whats on slackbuilds.org?
I'm on Salix 15.
sbopkg question
Re: sbopkg question
That seems like a problem with sbopkg and we don't use sbopkg in Salix.
But, as for wine, I have built packages for the latest version and you can find them here:
https://people.salixos.org/gapan/wine/
(right now there is only a 64bit package, but a 32bit one will be uploaded soon)
I will add them to the repositories, since other people might be interested in them too.

Re: sbopkg question
I was pretty sure that it was me doing something wrong with sbopkg and someone will correct my doings, but you are probably right that its a problem with sbopkg.
Nice, so I will patiently wait (as this is no hurry for me) for the 32bit package, as this is what I need. I was going to read through wine slackbuild readme on how to provide the multilib switch to the script so it would build the old way (as now by default it compiles with this Wow64 mode where there is no 32bit wine)gapan wrote: ↑14. Re: sbopkg question
It seems there are some issues with building the 32 bit package. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my build or with the original source code. But there is an official 32 bit wine package, you can find it here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/f ... 10.1/i686/
I haven't tried it at all though.
