Age Verification 'Laws' for Slackware-Based Distros

Hi, it's now public knowledge that Patrick Volkerding has shot down the age verification nonsense that's been getting a lot of attention in not just GNU/Linux, but FLOSS (e.g. OpenBSD, Haiku) in general. Does this automatically apply to downstream distros like Salix and Slackel? If not, could it be confirmed by the main developers where their stances are on this sort of thing? It's definitely an important subject. The only way to win is to not comply.
Thanks in advance.

I will talk about Slackel. I released Slackel 1.0 and it was a KDE edition on 2005, if i remember well, so many years ago and still it is alive.
I agree with Patrick Volkerding.
I found a post about it "First age verification, then gender verification, then ethnicity verification, then home address verification, then political stance verification, then social security number verification, you get the drift. Those in charge won't stop until every movement of citizens are recorded, monitored and regulated.".
Slackware is developing in Minnesota and laws of Minnesota i think are not applied to Europe Union Countries as Greece where Slackel is developing.
Of course i do not know what will happen in the future in Europe.
I decided to use linux back on 1998 for first time because of windows and because i wanted to be the master of the system and not the system to decide for me.
