Hello,
After upgrading Salix 13.0 to 13.1 I have no sound. Alsamixer gives me:

anton[~]$ alsamixer
cannot open mixer: Bestand of map bestaat niet
anton[~]$ amixer
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory
anton[~]$

I deinstalled and reinstalled alsamixer but still no sound.
How should I go on in trying to get sound.

First try running alsaconf.
BTW if output you want to post is non-English, it would be great if you could prepend the command with "LANG=C" to get English output. E.g LANG=C alsamixer
