net-snmp package missing libnl dependency?

*Hi*

Thanks for the great distro - works a charm on my old amd64 box. I'm a Debian convert, but grew up round various BSDs so it's nice to get away from all those layers of customization ;-).

Umm.. was fighting with cyrus-imapd build this afternoon and ran into a (minor) issue - missing libnl lib which AFAICS is a dependency of the net-snmp package. I'm running 13.1 on x86_64 with net-snmp-5.5-x86_64-2 which was installed at setup time with the "basic" install.. looking at the output..

Code: Select all

# slapt-get --show net-snmp
Package Version: 5.5-x86_64-2
Package Required: libnl,openssl|openssl-solibs
so anyhow I fixed it with a slapt-get --install libnl, dunno if this is a bug or a cunning 'feature' :).

Cheers.....j

I think we should just remove net-snmp from the iso. Or is it required by anything else? I don't think so.

It's used by hplip. We should include libnl in future versions. Thanks for the report jaminja.
