Ελεγξε το md5sum του iso image. Μήπως δεν κατέβηκε σωστά. Το usb label πρέπει να είναι LIVE (κεφαλαία γράμματα).
Πrοσπάθησε να εκκινήσεις το salixos σε άλλο υπολογιστή. Έχει δημιουργηθεί σωστά το live usb? Είναι διαμορφωμένο σε vfat σύστημα αρχείων; Αντιγράφηκαν σωστά χωρις λάθη τα αρχεία από το iso ...

os-prober is in use (GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER="false" in grub.cfg), it will search all available partitions.

Shutdown laptop or desktop pc. Plug in the usb. Then press power button and immediately press Fn+F12 (my lanovo laptop) to go to boot manager. In your system F12 maybe is different.
You will see a choice USB to boot from.

Can you go to command line (init 3)
and from there type startx to go on X
Then maybe you will see a message about some package missing because new packages added and other removed on slackware current.
Installing the missing packages will connect.
If you updated from version 5 which is too long ...

Live installer supports installation to nvme drives (nvme0n1 nvme1n1 nvme2n1 nvme3n1 nvme4n1 nvme5n1, etc) I have a nvme laptop and live installer finds it. I do not know about mmcblk drives.
