Just go to "view the results" or something like that. You will see small boxes are ticked for which you voted. You can just untick or tick some other choices and then "submit".JRD wrote:There seems to be an error when I voted. And I cannot change my vote. How to do ? Thenktor ? Re: Your Salix
For the 'others' category -> regular office work: accounting, communication, text & graphic editing
(maybe office work should be a category of its own?)

What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.

Definitely, survey isn't working. So, my vote is:
(x) casual user
(x) heavy internet user
I use XFCE 32-bit edition on a old hardware desktop and XFCE 64-bit edition on a Dell Inspiron Notebook (and I must say it, Salix64 is one of the few distros that recognize my Altheros wireless card since the first boot without to need downloading a driver or any configuration).

Re: Your Salix
Apparently you can checkoff multiple items. After eliminating all the others except for casual user and heavy internet users, I checked both of them. Here's my reasoning for my choices
Casual Users - I tend to use Salix dressed in my sweat pants and shirt, definitely no tie,
Heavy internet user - Well, I could stand to lose a few pounds (or a few 2.2 kilos)

Oops... Well, 'prosalix' is more green than 'salixgreen' and the survey works.Akuna wrote:This could depend on the forum theme you are using. Try prosalix or 1_thanksalix in above left link: User Control Panel / Board Preference / My board Style.seacat wrote:Definitely, survey isn't working.

Re: Your Salix
At the moment I'm a plucking-up-courage-to-take-the-plunge user
I've used Fedora since version 1, but it does leave me feeling a bit like a hamster in a wheel. For something more sedate I was considering CentOS or Debian (which I've never felt happy with); Slackware was too much like hard work.
I keep a guest partition to try distros and review them on linuxquestions.org and I'm rather hooked by Salix, which I'm using for occasional sessions. With OpenOffice, Gnucash, and Firefox, I'm almost all set. I'm still deciding if Claws is a suitable substitute for Evolution. As for Xfce, that may be the only refuge for old-school Gnome lovers if Gnome goes all Ubuntu-ish.
