Is it a hard package to create?
I wanted to test it in my new installation but I found only e16.
Sorry but I don't know how to create a package yet.
Thank you!
EDIT:I forgot all the rules
E17 is the new version of the Enlightenment desktop environment.
Here is a project page of packaging e17 to slackware:
http://slacke17.sourceforge.net/
I hope it's up to date.
Thanks!

Building all those packages for Salix would be a big task. But this slacke17 seems to automate the whole process and looks easy enough to install. Did you try to install the .tgz file they're offering?

The package installs. I think it duplicated sqlite3.
The session option is added to gdm.
most icons are missing.
Anything else to test?

It probably needs another icon theme that is not installed, maybe tango? Or you could probably set the theme to an existing one from somewhere in the e17 settings.

I know...
It's for Slackware 12 but I don't have anything else right now.
Moreover, it was initially just for testing. I wanted to see enlightenment. I don't use it as a production system.
