Disabling Xfce Balloon Tooltips

How?

Salix Xfce 13.2 Beta.

I'm not an Xfce person but am testing the beta nonetheless. When I hover over Xfce Setting Tools the tooltips pop up. Likewise with icons in the panel.

I would like to disable. I checked the wiki and the web and saw nothing obvious, but that could be my choice of search words too.

Try adding:

gtk-enable-tooltips = 0

to your ~/.gtkrc-2.0

Oh my. No way to do this from any of the Xfce control panel applets....?
