GNUCash starts then disappears

This is my last hurdle to load SalixOS on my main system. Thanks for your hard work.
Currently running the beta version (32bit) on the laptop to see if I can get everything working OK.
It's taken a little time but has been worth the effort - it pushes me a little to learn more about how things work in Linux.

If I remember correctly GNUCash worked OK on SalixOS 13.1.2. ; think it used a different version of guile.
The splash screen starts and the tip for the day and then disappears.
Searching the internet it seems to be related to guile / slib but I haven't found the solution.

One solution mentioned is to correct the load path in the /usr/share/guile/1.8/ice-9/slib.scm file to the path for the guile.init file but I could not find a guile.init file - guessed at a few things but it didn't work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I just happened to check to see if slib was installed - it wasn't

working now

OK, so slib should be a dependency for gnucash. Fixed. Thanks.
