Do you get any errors when you run conky from the terminal?

Do make sure to add ${endif}, after the ${if_existing}.
If you're asking about the debupdates.sh error, not sure what it's meant to do, but you could replace it with the slackware/salix changelogs i guess.

I got it working now, only for Wired and Wireless (no Offline mode), in a very odd way:

In order to see what is happening with eth0 you need to ask if wlan0 is exist
