I currently use the free version of LogMeIn to access my work desktop (Mac) from home (SalixOS 13.1). I would like to do the reverse, but notice that the only version of LogMeIn available for Linux is Hamachi....which if I understand correctly allows access to files but doesn't grant full desktop control.
I have used X11vnc in the past but it required some setting up on both ends. I am also aware that we have Remmina in the repo but after some reading I think I want to use Teamviewer. I notice it is available as a Slackbuild http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.37 ... eamviewer/ .
So my question is: should I just install the Slackbuild or is there some advantage to requesting it as an official Salix package?
Thanks in advance.
